Use our SimpleScan machine in the Business/AV area on the upper level of the library.
This SimpleScan Station makes scanning, saving and sharing as easy as 1, 2, 3. Now you can scan, save and even edit important documents and school papers. Share your favorite book excerpts, old letters and photos online with colleagues and friends around the world.
The simple touch-screen guides you through the process to scan from text books, books, magazines, class notes, photos, yearbooks, class pictures and more! The sheet feeder can even scan both sides of the page at once!
Save your scan to:
- a USB drive
- send to an email account
- send to your smart phone/tablet (QR code reading app required)
- scan and send to our public printing system
- save as a password-secured PDF, and then save or email
The scanner is free to use for Lansing card holders in good standing, simply approach it if not in use, and login with your library card and PIN, or reserve the "ScanFax" computer.
Regular guest pass reservation fees apply for non-residents or Lansing users without their card. Printing is charged at our regular rates.
