National Library Week

It's National Library Week!
But of course, we believe every week is library week!

Celebrate by bringing a friend to the library or learning about the many services we offer!

Ask staff to learn more about streaming video, downloadable eBooks, Wi-Fi hotspots, computer & technology classes, genealogy, storytime, book discussions, events for all ages, homebound services, study rooms, and more! Bring a friend to one of our educational or recreational programs!

Check out a book, museum or zoo pass, DVD, videogame, magazine, audiobook or large print item! Download eBooks, eMagazines or stream a video!

As a member of the SWAN libraries consortium, if we don't have the title you want in the building, it's likely we can get it delivered here at no charge! Just ask!

Use one of our many subscription databases to do research here or at home!  Your library card unlocks free access to: Learn a language or English as a second language with Mango! Get ready for the road with AutoMate, & Driver Practice Tests.

Jump start your career with The Careers College.  Find your roots with Ancestry Library Edition (in-library use only), Fold 3, and Newspaper Archive.

Plan your next adventure with A to Z the USA, A to Z World Travel, and Global Road Warrior.

Find business contacts and clients with AtoZdatabases.

Get the facts with Britannica Reference, CQ Researcher, and EBSCO magazine articles including Consumer Reports!, Consumer Health Complete, Science Reference Center, and Small Engine Repair Reference Center.

Find your next great book to read with NoveList, and NoveList K-8.

Ask staff for a demo of any of these you haven’t tried!

Get involved in your community through one of the groups that meet here at the library such as the writers group, knitting & crochet group, the Lansing Historical Society, Friends of Lansing Library or the new Lansing Garden Club.  Check our calendar for meeting dates.
