Skip the DMV and renew your license plate stickers at the library! Starting this October, Illinois residents can visit the Info Desk and leave with their new sticker the same day.*
You will need your Registration ID and PIN numbers, or your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), and your license plate number. A standard renewal sticker costs $151 plus an additional $9.50 processing fee that may be paid with a debit or credit card only. We cannot accept cash or checks.
*If your vehicle needs to pass an emissions test, the Library will be unable to renew your license plate.
