Lansing Library Card required.
Consult a Librarian provides an opportunity for library staff to teach you how to use library resources to accomplish your research goal. While library staff at the service desks are always willing to answer your questions and help you learn to use the library, in some situations a one-on-one appointment may be helpful.
What library staff can do: Teach you to use library resources to accomplish your research goal. What library staff can’t do: Type or proofread your document. Provide medical, legal or business advice or opinion. Do your homework for you.
Consult a Librarian appointments are scheduled with subject experts; call or visit the Information & Instruction Desk to schedule an appointment based on your research goal. If you have an immediate question, please contact the Information Desk at 708-474-2447.
